Have I mentioned that I love boats? There’s just something about them, some kind of magic or intrigue that I can’t quite put words to. I think I love the water and love being able to look into the water wherever the boat takes me. One particular boat I love is a sailboat. I have a place in my heart for fisher boats with all the regalia, but a sailboat is the real deal for me. I love the pillowy sail full of wind and color, the lovely shapes the sail makes, and the vertical lines across the horizon. They bring a bit of a fun and excited feeling to me, and I hope this painting gives you the same feels.
